Welcome to Journey Psychology Services & Consulting, led by Dr. Nanda. This private psychotherapy practice offers a variety of services, including individual psychotherapy pre-operative evaluations, tailored to meet unique needs.

 

Specializing in bereavement therapy, maternal mental health, psychological assessments, gifted testing for children, chronic illness management, and cognitive screening for older, Dr. Nanda approaches therapy through an integrative lens.

 

With a focus on social justice and equity, the practice provides lifespan care using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, IPT, and DBT to mental well-being.

Our Approach

At Journey Psychology Services & Consulting, Dr. Nanda approaches therapy and psychological assessments through a trauma-informed and health psychology lens. She believes in transparent healthcare, collaborating with clients to enhance their overall-being. By utilizing an integrative approach, Dr. Nanda tailors evidence-based strategies to meet the specific needs of each individual, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Process Therapy (IPT), and Attachment-Based Family Therapy. She also emphasizes the importance of physical health, recognizing its significant impact on overall well-being.

Meet Our Psychologist

Dr. Nanda Mamane is a dedicated psychologist with diverse clinical experiences, ranging from helping children cope with trauma to supporting adults struggling with chronic physical and mental health issues. Her research and clinical work are guided by a social justice and equity lens, with a particular interest in bereavement and grief outcomes. She is committed to providing trauma-informed care and aims to contribute to the greater movement of enhancing psychoeducation, reducing stigma, and improving empathic medical care.

After earning her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) she completed her Postdoctoral residency at NSU’s Psychology Service Center, Adult Services Program. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship in Consultation/Liaison Services at Broward Health Medical Center. When she is not seeing clients, she serves as an adjunct professor and intensive supervisor at NSU’s College of Psychology.
